We started its operations in 1965 through the establishment of one conventional rice husking machine by the Late Mian Abdul Rasheed. Through his vision of quality and innovation, he brought critical changes to the company in 1982 with innovative rice processing technologies that included husk fire-type paddy dryers. Rice forces farmers to plant and cultivate it because it falls under Kharif (Autumn). Along with harvesting activities throughout the monsoon season, rice farmers plant between June and July and then begin harvesting from September to November. Rice reaches maturity at different times, allowing us to harvest multiple outstanding rice varieties.
Our selection process only includes the best-quality mature paddy that combines strong yielding potential with resistance properties to minimize waste. Three successive steps at the facility eliminate contaminants. When paddy arrives at the facility, we begin by removing rocks and stones and discarding immature grains. This technology includes advanced drying components that remove moisture from the products to produce top-quality outputs.
During milling, dried paddy husk is removed to reveal brown grains by exposing the bran layer. Rice begins its aging process in controlled environments with specific temperature and moisture conditions, which it needs to reach its full taste potential over a minimum twelve-month period.
The main tool for weight measurement in our operations is a modern automatic bagging scale. Our packaging layers together product preservation techniques with attractive presentation features. Multiple customer packing specifications can be handled through the use of jute, cotton, and polypropylene packaging, followed by polyethylene packaging at our facility.
Our main facility produces revolutionary rice using advanced equipment and rigorous quality-control systems. The facility maintains top-quality rice through its nine fumigation chambers, which process products before and after production. This facility’s production capacity reaches 75,000 MT annually. Its processing function operates at 20 MT/hour, and husking operates at the same rate.
The unit applies international standards to ensure quality assessment and operational improvement. The facility uses digital grain moisture testers and labor-saving color sorters as part of its operations. These select high-quality grains for the final packaging. Our high-end packaging system ensures both product stability and protection.
The quality assessment protocols at Unit 3 comprehensively evaluate all received grains. The facility achieves superior production through its ability to store 80,000 MT of paddy, process 50 MT of paddy each hour after drying, and manage 20 MT of paddy together with 10 MT of parboiling each hour. The combination of Metropolitan paddy purifiers with stone eliminators and rice length graders produces quality products that match.
The speed of local display, combined with cargo delivery service, forms our main business targets. All generators from Unit 1 provide 3 units, whereas Unit 2 includes 2 generators, and Unit 3 offers 3 generators that generate 1MW of power for uninterrupted factory production.
The testing facility exceeds international requirements by using leading testing equipment. Therefore, it combines the Rice Testing Husker and Hulling Machine. It also uses Digital Moisture Testing and Sample Divider, Infrared Moisture Meters, and Electronic Balances. As a result, quality and purity standards are applied to each individual grain of Ocean Pearl.
